Networks Make Off With Bags of $ with iTunes Video Downloads

lost.jpg
Now here's a shocker. The TV networks are coming out as the big winners with the new Video iPod downloads. It seems that with every $1.99 video you download from iTunes, the networks are making 70%, or $1.44. This, according to JPMorgan Chase analyst Spencer Wang—heh. Obviously, this is going to make those network execs cream their pants, so expect a lot more of this type of programming in the future. Unless Apple gets smart and starts asking for a bigger piece of the pie. I guess it will be a fight to the finish.
