"@Alex7575: I believe a regular jet fighet is quite capable of operating underwater without much modification.The structures of jet fighters are quite sturdy as is and carbon fiber reinforcements are available.In short you only need to water proof the cockpit and avionics to be able to go subsurface to about 10 ~ 20 ft."
