@Nacaratus: yea, ok, i mean you're right, but at the same time there's been a lot of crap with big budgets that *didn't* need to be made. so i think it's a wash. those big budget awesome films would have still been made, but maybe they'd be even better, and wouldn't be drowned out by the rest

these buds on the post seem to have a tubing built into the teeth themselves, which is a nice design for this application imo. but if you just got some generic cloth attached ones you could wrap them around your headphone wires and sew em up with a sewing machine, trim the excess and have the same thing. i think i'd like these "invisible" zippers for this project,
